Paulí Amat has been appointed MD for TD Synnex’s newly-formed Iberia business in a move that reinforces the distributor's existing Spain and Portugal operations.
Luis Pires, Country Manager of TD Synnex in Portugal, will continue in his current position but will expand his responsibilities to include regional leadership for TD Synnex’s Endpoint Solutions unit.
Relationships with local customers will continue to be directed by the Sales Directors Pilar Martin in Spain and Raul Castro in Portugal.
Dominique Deklerck, SVP, Benelux, Iberia and Italy at TD Synnex, said: “Many of our vendors and larger partners are also moving to Iberia models so this change helps us to align more closely with them and enhance ease of doing business.
“We have big plans to grow our Iberia business and support our partners as they drive their business transformation in the region.”
