AQAIO is to take Comodo's cloud endpoint security solutions to the European market through a just-signed distribution agreement.
New Jersey, US-headquartered Comodo has architected its cybersecurity product to maximise intelligent sharing between every component of the platform, therefore providing “superior security”, said AQAIO, the Munich, Germany-based next generation IT security distributor.
Jens Schumacher, European Comodo partnership manager at AQAIO, said: “We chose to partner with Comodo because of the ease-of-use of its Dragon platform and its auto containment technology, which is a killer feature compared to everything else on the market.
“Why offer 99% when you can have 100% threat protection? Plus, the pricing is attractive and the cherry on top is the superb support team.”
The patent-pending auto containment technology has active breach protection that can neutralise ransomware, malware and cyber-attacks. The auto containment system runs an unknown executable in a kernel API virtualised mode, offering attack surface reduction (ASR) that neutralises ransomware.
Schumacher said: “Through our Comodo partnership our resellers and managed service providers can offer their customers everything from Managed Detection and Response (MDR) as-a-service to custom SOC (security operations centre) as-a-service. Alan Knepfer, president and chief revenue officer at Comodo, said: “We look forward to a strong future with AQAIO. Through this partnership their resellers have support in their time zone and a local, central point of contact.”
