Arrow Business Communications has acquired the Circle Group, its fifth acquisition of the year.
The deal covers the Circle IT Solutions and Fabric subsidiary businesses.
Circle IT is a Microsoft Gold partner and is based in Cardiff, Wales. Fabric was acquired by the Circle Group this March and is based in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
Circle IT focuses on IT consultancy, design and implementation with a particular focus on cloud enablement, using its eight Microsoft Gold Certifications. Fabric is a software provider and IT support company.
The Circle Group was founded in 2002 and its customers include UKTV, Harrison Clark Rickerbys and Cardiff University. Its 100 employees at the Cardiff Gate Business Park headquarters will now become part of the Arrow group.
Circle’s founder, Roger Harry, has become a major shareholder within the Arrow Group, and will play a pivotal role in the strategy and growth of the business moving forward, said Arrow.
“Over the coming years I will continue to drive growth as a major shareholder,” said Harry. “It is an exciting new chapter for us.”
Richard Burke (pictured), CEO of Arrow Business Communications, added: “This acquisition completes our solution portfolio and ensures we continue to provide relevant solutions across our three customer demographics of enterprise, public sector and mid-market. I welcome the Circle and Fabric teams into the Arrow family.”
Last month, Arrow acquired cloud collaboration solutions MSP Pescado, and data centre and cloud services firm AIMES Management Services.
Earlier in the year, it also acquired UK-tec, providing it with access to a range of network and security products and services, and network solutions company Complete Networks.
