Arrow Electronics signs EMEA distribution deal for Secureworks

Arrow Electronics has signed a pan-European distribution agreement with cyber security services firm Secureworks, following the North America deal it signed last September.

“As a software-driven security solutions provider we will provide Arrow with a streamlined way to meet growing customer demand for cyber security,” said Secureworks.

Secureworks says it has joined forces with Arrow for its capabilities in channel recruitment, channel enablement and sales support. Channel partners have access to the Secureworks Global Partner Program launched last May, which was designed to generate much more channel business than the sub-10% portion that previously existed at the mainly direct seller.

At the last count, Secureworks had global sales of over $550m, so the channel expansion should be a boon to resellers as the vendor widens its EMEA reach.

Products and services available through the new distribution agreement include Secureworks Taegis XDR (Extended Detection and Response), Secureworks Taegis ManagedXDR, Taegis VDR and the Secureworks Incident Management Retainer for proactive and emergency incident response.

Maureen Perrelli (pictured), chief channel officer at Secureworks, said: “Arrow has been a preferred distributor of Secureworks in North America and it's well-positioned globally to enable our channel partner community to deliver our products and services to the European cyber security market.”

Alexis Brabant, vice president of sales for Arrow's enterprise computing solutions business in EMEA, added: “The threat of cyber attacks has never been bigger and Arrow is working with Secureworks to offer a solution that enables customers to focus on scaling their business whilst having the knowledge their security can scale as rapidly to protect their data from attack.”

Secureworks says it has over 4,000 end customers across over 50 countries protected by its solutions.
