Arrow offers Microsoft SPLA through platform

Microsoft Service Provider License Agreements (SPLA) are now available through its ArrowSphere xSP Central platform in the UK.

Distributor Arrow says that Microsoft Service Provider License Agreements (SPLA) are now available through its ArrowSphere xSP Central platform in the UK.

Microsoft SPLA is for organisations that want to offer hosted software and services to end customers, such as Web hosting, hosted applications, messaging, collaboration and platform infrastructure. SPLA partners can offer a customised service with a flexible cost structure, no startup cost and no long term commitments, it says.

The ArrowSphere xSP Central platform was developed for MSPs and solution providers to help them reduce administrative overheads in managing and reporting licence usage, while maintaining an accurate view of service delivery costs. ArrowSphere xSP Central offers advanced licensing and audit reconciliation through a dashboard. It also offers tools to generate pricing models, evaluate vendor program options, automate monthly reports and perform analysis, such as profit threshold and capacity planning.

“This announcement reinforces Arrow’s commitment to MSPs and solution providers to bring opportunities to either build or resell cloud services for the benefit of their customers,” said David Ellis, director of strategy, Arrow ECS UK and Ireland. “ArrowSphere xSP Central enables MSPs and solution providers to select the best combination of technology and cost for their customers’ cloud services, while benefiting from the ability to expand their offerings as new services become available.”

The ArrowSphere xSP Central portal is available as part of the ArrowSphere cloud services aggregation, sales and enablement platform.
