Aspire Technology Solutions has acquired managed service provider Cloud Cover IT, which is based in Glasgow, Scotland.
Cloud Cover IT has been delivering IT support and digital transformation solutions for over 11 years.
“This is an important strategic acquisition, aligning with our vision for expansion into new UK regions, and expanding our portfolio of cutting-edge technology solutions,” said Aspire.
Cloud Cover IT will become a part of the Aspire group and its software development and business applications division will be rebranded as “Flyte”. “The company will be well-positioned to make ongoing investments and extending its business applications offerings to better serve its growing customer base,” Aspire added.

Aspire says it serves over 1,700 customers and employs 250 experts in cyber security, cloud, managed services, connectivity, and unified communications. It has offices in Gateshead, London, Leeds, and Teesside.
Aspire is backed by private equity firm LDC. “Our recent appointment of Tom Howard as chief financial officer is set to play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, facilitating our organic growth and expansion through acquisitions,” Aspire added.
