Avanade names new CEO as incumbent takes Microsoft AI role

IT services provider Avanade, which is a joint venture of Microsoft and Accenture, has named Rodrigo Caserta as its new CEO.

Taking the reins on 1 September, he will succeed Pamela Maynard, who has held the position for the last six years. She will leave at the end of this month to join Microsoft as its chief AI transformation officer at Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS).

Caserta, who joined the firm ten years ago, currently heads the Avanade Global Technology Business Group. His previous roles at the company include general manager for Brazil, and president of growth markets. He previously held roles at TOTVS and Accenture.

Avanade is majority-owned by Accenture, and employs around 60,000 across 26 countries. It has a total annual turnover of over $2 billion.
