Cisco is set to acquire ITDR start-up Oort, with a focus on enhancing its security cloud's user telemetry.
Post-acquisition, the Oort team will join Cisco's Security Business Group to fortify the identity perimeter.
Raj Chopra, SVP and CPO for Cisco Security, said: “Oort’s integrations with other third-party vendors – including Google, Microsoft, Okta, and Auth0 – support our commitment to increase interoperability and deliver consistent outcomes regardless of vendor or technology.”
The acquisition is set to close in this year's first quarter.
