Cisco appoints new EMEA region leader

Oliver Tuszik is to lead the Cisco EMEA region, replacing Wendy Mars, who is retiring.

German native Tuszik has led Cisco’s global partner organisation from California for the last five years, and is now returning to Germany for his new role.

In California, he was senior vice president of global partner sales and general manager of routes to market. He will formerly start as lead for EMEA on 1 August, 2023.

“I’m excited about my new adventure with the #CiscoEMEA team,” Tuszik wrote on his LinkedIn page. “I’ll carry forward all that I’ve learned and experienced in the US and across the globe and apply it in this next chapter of my journey.”

He joined Cisco in 2013, initially to lead Cisco’s Germany unit, before taking the global partner role in the US in 2018.

Tuszik’s replacement in the US has so far not been named.
