Cisco is striving to bolster its Security Cloud capabilities by taking over the cloud-native network security firm Valtix Inc.
Valtix will join Cisco's Security Business Group, integrating its services into Cisco's Security Cloud to accelerate its path to secure workloads across multi-cloud environments.
Raj Chopra, SVP and CPO of Cisco Security said: “This is a central principle for our vision for the Cisco Security Cloud, a global, cloud-delivered, integrated networking and security platform for organisations of any shape and size.”
Cisco's acquisition of Valtix is expected to close by April 30, though its price remains undisclosed.
