Cisco Gold Partner moves house in unpredictable times

Infrastructure services provider CAE has completed the purchase of a new headquarters in Hemel Hempstead, just north of London. CAE Technology Services, a Cisco Gold Partner, says it will relocate from nearby Watford between now and the third quarter of 2021. The company has been in Watford, Hertfordshire for 20 years.

The new head office in Hemel Hempstead increases the company's HQ footprint from 18,000 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft. The site will house central business functions, warehousing, system configuration and the service desk. CAE Technology Services chief executive Justin Harling (pictured) said: "The CAE team is our most valuable asset and we had identified the need to provide them with the best possible work environment prior to the onset of Covid-19."

"Although the short-term is difficult to predict, we know that this is the right move for the long-term success of CAE, and will allow us to work even more effectively with our customers, partners and suppliers."

Harling led a management buyout of the company around 18 months ago. CAE reported sales of £132.9m for its financial year ending June 2019, up from the £103.9m achieved in the previous year.
