Distributor Systeam, operating in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, has signed an agreement to acquire Despec in the Nordics.
Systeam AG will acquire all the shares of Despec Nordic Holding A/S, and expand its existing sales territory with Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Systeam distributes a wide range of products in the IT sector with a focus on the printing business with premium brand printers and supplies.

For us it was important to find not only local presence, but also someone with a strong market position. With Despec Nordic, we have found one of the three largest printer and supplies distributors in Scandinavia” says Michael Mitlacher, CEO of Systeam.
Michael Voll, Despec MD, will remain in his position and will continue to run the operations in the Nordics with his team, and he emphasizes: “Despec has now joined a new family and has a strong new owner. Regarding existing relationships there will be no changes for business partners of Despec and Systeam. We expect that we will share our product portfolio and our know-how with each other, and that this will have a long-lasting, positive impact on our customers and contracted vendors“.
Systeam has been active in the German market for more than thirty years, establishing Systeam in
Switzerland in 2004 and in Austria in 2011. Today Systeam employs around 180 people.
