Enreach, a growing European unified communications specialist is buying Dutch company Botsquad for its conversational artificial intelligence systems. This acquisition brings chatbot options to Enreach partners and customers across Europe. Botsquad's technology will be integrated into the Enreach portfolio, with enhancements to the Cloud PBX portfolio and the group's contact centre solution. Beyond text chat, Enreach, which is backed by investment firm Waterland, plans to invest in developing Botsquad's technology to integrate conversational AI into its voice services.
Formed in 2017, the Botsquad team brings 20 years of experience in conversational AI for chat, voice and apps. Botsquad's cutting-edge technology provides a solid foundation for conversational applications, from intelligent IVR to chat-based customer service. Prior to the acquisition, Botsquad and Enreach had previously worked together to deliver conversational AI for a common customer.
With conversational AI being a rapidly growing market, the founders of Botsquad have established a reputation for providing omnichannel chatbot solutions to a wide variety of customers. Through Enreach, this conversational AI experience is now available to the SMB market as a turnkey solution. The Botsquad platform enables partners and customers to quickly set up sophisticated systems with pre-configured components, via a user-friendly online model based on the open source configuration language Bubblescript developed by the company, it says.
