Punit Renjen, previously Deloitte Global CEO, has been elected to SAP's Supervisory Board as Deputy Chairman.
His appointment was backed by an overwhelming 99.21% of shareholders at SAP SE's AGM held in Waldorf, Germany.
He is set to replace current chair Hasso Plattner as the new SAP chairman in 2024.
Plattner said: “We believe that Punit Renjen is an excellent candidate who, with his outstanding expertise, his many years of experience in a global company, and his valuable knowledge of many industries, represents a gain for SAP and our Supervisory Board.”
