Former AWS exec joins Fivetran as CMO

SaaS industry veteran Rachel Thornton has been named CMO at Fivetran, bringing over 25 years of B2B tech experience to the automated data specialist firm.

Having previously held positions at AWS, Salesforce, Cisco Systems, and Microsoft, Thornton will lead Fivetran’s marketing and PR efforts, reporting directly to COO Taylor Brown.

Brown said: “Rachel is an inspiring leader with a proven track record in growing enterprise technology brands. She’s the right person to lead marketing as we continue our rapid growth trajectory around the world.”
