Former NetApp sales exec Jon Mellon has joined Blancco Technology Group to expand the data security firm’s channel programme into vertical markets and advance its enterprise business.
Mellon was most recently VP and General Manager of Americas Commercial Sales at NetApp responsible for a third of the Americas operation, which is the highest growth segment in the company.
"I join Blancco at a time when all the complexities of data sanitisation have come to the forefront of the world’s largest organisations, and amidst a global mandate to perform these functions in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner," stated Mellon.
"I will work with channel partners to expand our reach into vertical markets, including those with stringent compliance requirements such as finance, government and healthcare."
