HashiCorp to slash 8% in latest job cull

Despite a solid first fiscal 2024 with $138m revenue, HashiCorp is planning to cut 8% of its staff.

The company, which previously had over 2,000 employees, is aiming to reduce discretionary spending to lower ongoing costs amidst a challenging economic climate, according to CEO Dave McJannet.

He said: “We are responding to the current customer and economic environment with proactive actions to lower our ongoing costs.”

In addition, Susan St. Ledger has been hired as the new President of Worldwide Field Operations.
