MSP security technology provider Hornetsecurity has enhanced its global cloud cybersecurity offerings by acquiring email security provider Vade.
Supported by investment firms PSG Equity, TA Associates, and Verdane, this move aligns with Hornetsecurity's strategy for product expansion and international growth.
The integration of Vade's broad channel network will help MSPs and resellers to offer product combos in the French market, including its 365 Total Protection service.
Hornetsecurity CEO Daniel Hofmann said: “This transaction is an important milestone in our journey to build the strongest global provider of Microsoft 365 security services.”
Georges Lotigier from Vade has joined Hornetsecurity's supervisory board, marking a significant leadership integration.
Vade CEO Georges Lotigier added: “This union is the natural next step for Vade as we align ourselves with a like-minded European partner who shares our vision and culture.”
In 2024, new products are expected to be launched, leveraging Vade's data centre. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
