TD Azlan says it is the first HP distribution partner in Europe to offer the official web-based HP certification training on its own partner training portal, TD Academy. The training, which both Business Partners and Silver Specialist Partners will need to complete, will be available to partners via TD Academy, the learning platform and education resource within Azlan’s HP-focused website.
Partners have until 31 August 2014 to complete new certification requirements for HP’s FY15 PartnerOne programme. For many partners, the new HP certification requirements will require more people that hold the sales and technical certifications, while some existing certifications will need to be upgraded, say s Fiona Challis, HP Training and Education Manager for Azlan, who believes that a large number of HP resellers will want to make use of the HP accreditation training and develop their sales skills on TD Academy.
“We want to make certifying with HP easier for partners. With the deadline by which resellers need to meet their certification requirements fast approaching, we have worked extremely hard to ensure that we are providing the full training package. We are helping and notifying HP partners on which certifications they need to take, ensuring that our training is accessible and easy to use, providing study guides and exam preparation guides for each exam, and providing additional coaching and support from our local pre-sales team, if required, to ensure partners will pass the exam,” said Challis.
The new and improved HP sales certification training is available in English, German, Spanish, French and Portuguese. The modules are interactive, accessible in one place, and include competitive information, exam preparation guides, and updates. Additionally, a limited number of partners that complete the HP Sales Certification training on the TD Academy platform may be eligible for free or discounted exam vouchers, it says.
TD Academy also provides resellers with details of both classroom-based and virtual instructor-led training for HP Technical Certifications along with links that will enable partners to register on these courses. Using these resources, HP Partners will be able to ensure they maintain or gain the necessary certifications to meet their certification requirements, which along with meeting the HP revenue threshold and any other applicable criteria, will enable them to secure their FY15 PartnerOne Program Partner Status and benefits.
Once registered on TD Academy, resellers can create their own secure Sales Academy area and build tailored training plans. Team members can post updates on their own progress and see how their colleagues are performing too. They can also interact with each other by posting messages on the site.
The TD Academy training is available as part of Azlan’s new-look dedicated HP website, which provides HP resellers with a unique set of tools and resources designed to help them grow their HP converged infrastructure solutions business.
