London-headquartered PTS International (Progress), an incubator and distributor of cyber security technologies into the UK, Eire, Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe, has just added vendor Swimlane.
It acts as a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response platform, (SOAR) and was designed by security analysts to help tackle the real-world, day-to-day work of protection. The tool aims to offer scalable and flexible security solutions to organisations struggling with alert fatigue, vendor proliferation and chronic staffing shortages, which is can do by automating and orchestrating security tools and processes. By optimising their available resources and accelerate incident response, Swimlane aims to address both simple and complex security activities, from prioritising alerts to remediating threats and improving performance across the entire operation.
The Progress group of companies itself now extends to a fully Managed Security Service offering in the UK and European channel, Progress Managed Services; alongside flexible monthly financing options offering true subscription-based pricing with Progress Capital Services; and Progress Advisory Services, offering senior consulting services for VARs and end users.
“We are delighted to welcome Swimlane to the Progress group,” says John Quinn, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Progress. “They are an exciting, leading edge SOAR technology and will prove a great addition to any channel partner’s portfolio. The technology is key to any organisation as it helps to increase the time security teams spend protecting their organisations and reduces the time those teams dedicate to performing repetitive, mundane tasks.”
