Two big deals concluded this week
Distributor Ingram Micro has completed its purchase of Odin Service Automation from Russian PC virtualisation software firm Parallels. The company has also bought "associated cloud management technologies, intellectual property and the Odin brand."
Terms are undisclosed. Odin users include Vodafone, Telstra, KPN, Telefonica, and CenturyLink. The distributor also closed the $175m purchase of Dutch e-commerce fulfillment services firm Docdata (first announced in October), and announced the expansion of its Cloud Marketplace (allows channel partners to bundle/sell cloud services) to India
