IT distributor Ingram Micro has a strategic partnership in the UK with UK-based cyber security provider Deep Secure.
The new agreement will give Ingram Micro access to Deep Secure’s Threat Removal Platform, a solution that aims to extract useful business information from files and construct a new file to carry the information to its destination. The idea is that users can deliver threat-free files with no exposure to malware while also replacing or augmenting existing cybersecurity defences. .
“Deep Secure has a progressive view on cyber defense, looking beyond the more traditional detection-based methods to give customers complete confidence that the information they send and receive is malware-free”, said Scott Murphy, Director for Cloud, Cyber and UCC at Ingram Micro Cloud. We are thrilled that Deep Secure has joined our growing portfolio of UK vendors, and we look forward to working closely with them in the future.”
Paul Hancock, Director Sales and Strategic Alliances, at Deep Secure, echoed the thoughts of Murphy, insisting that the company’s broadening relationship with Ingram Micro will allow them to increase the scale of their services: “As we continue to drive the acceleration and uptake of our Threat Removal solutions across the region, the relationship with Ingram Micro enables us to deliver on our plan to increase our scale and will also greatly assist us on our desire to reach far and wide in order to provide our solution for the benefit of all”, said Hancock.
“Malware and ransomware attacks are increasing at a phenomenal rate. Organisations are realising that they must move beyond traditional cyber-security detection techniques to combat ever more sophisticated cyberattacks. The Deep Secure Threat Removal platform is a zero-trust data solution that delivers 100% threat-free data, in real-time, while delivering the lowest anti-malware carbon footprint and an unsurpassed ROI,” he added.
To date, Deep Secure solutions are deployed across five continents and trusted by some of the world security-conscious organisations, many of whom operate in the finance, government, critical national infrastructure, defence, intelligence, and legal sectors, it says.
