Symatrix has appointed Sheila Bilung as lead for its newly-formed ERP practice.
This move is part of Symatrix' growth strategy, which is on track to meet its target for ERP to contribute 30% of its total revenue this financial year. Now, under Bilung’s leadership, Symatrix is pursuing an even more ambitious goal – aiming for 50% of the company’s revenue to come from its ERP services “in the coming years”.
Bilung brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, and has led largescale ERP implementations across a wide range of industries. Her career has spanned development, consulting and implementation, with a focus on delivering tailored ERP solutions across core business areas, including finance, procurement, supply chain and project accounting.
Prior to joining Symatrix, Bilung built a strong track record across a range of blue-chip companies, including Tesco Bank, Accenture, and Grant Thornton, where she played a pivotal role in establishing and scaling ERP practices.
-Sysdig has followed on appointing a new CEO with a new CISO, Sergej Epp, to develop Sysdig’s approach around cybersecurity strategy, operations, and risk management initiatives.
The company is expanding its approach around cloud security, and looking for more partners and collaboration opportunities in the channel in 2025.
Epp joins Sysdig from Palo Alto Networks, where he was CISO. He was also formerly in charge of security at Deutsche Bank, where he was responsible for leading the bank’s cyber defence centres across the Americas, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific, as well as its digital forensics, investigations, and cyber-hygiene teams.
Sysdig recently appointed Bill Welch as CEO, and Epp has joined alongside a new CMO at the company.
-WSO2, the digital transformation technology services firm, has added two executives: Jeff Paul and Isabelle Mauny. Together, they will play strategic roles in expanding global adoption of WSO2’s offerings via initiatives aimed at customer advocacy, education and counsel.
Jeff Paul joins WSO2 as senior vice president and global head of sales. He brings more than two decades of technology sales experience, including vice president roles at Red Hat, Intel and IBM.
Isabelle Mauny rejoins WSO2 as vice president and chief developer advocate. She has 25-plus years of integration and API industry experience, including roles as a 42Crunch co-founder and WSO2 vice president of product management.
-Rapid7, a specialist in extended risk and threat detection, has hired Thom Langford as its chief technology officer for the EMEA region.
Langford comes to Rapid7 as a well-known and influential voice in the information security industry. He most recently served as director of European Cybersecurity at DXC Technology, educating global audiences on complex security issues.
And, working as a CISO at Velonetic, Langford was responsible for the security of the technology platform at the London Insurance Market. Langford also served as CISO at Publicis Groupe.
-The STEGO Group of Germany, which supplies climate control solutions for enclosures and technical installations worldwide, is converting its former sales office in Nanjing, China, into an independent subsidiary with its own office organisation and warehouse.
This will ensure the consistent availability of STEGO products in the Chinese market, says the firm, and will enable invoicing in the local currency, Renminbi, “simplifying billing and transaction processes”.
