Keepit has achieved a strong period of growth and innovation with an increase in EMEA partners from 300 in January 2023 to over 500 just two years later - marking its position as a key player in the SaaS data protection space.
An expanded footprint, new partnerships, new funding and recognitions define a year of success for the date protection specialist.
Significant milestones include record revenue growth, strategic expansions, and numerous industry accolades, and the company’s financial performance makes it one of the fastest growing SaaS companies in its market, with a robust business momentum.
This growth was fuelled by strong customer loyalty, as evidenced by an impressive customer retention rate.
“Continuous dialogue with customers, partners, and the community, along with an agile product development organisation is key to our success and ability to attract investments,” said Morten Felsvang, Keepit Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer.
In December 2024, a recent funding boost saw Keepit secure a $50 million investment round led by existing investor One Peak and EIFO, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark
In 2024, the company expanded its global footprint to support its growing customer base and market demand, alongside a commitment to have a local presence to support regional partners and customers.
This included the opening of its first London office in January 2024 to serve its rapidly growing UK and Ireland presence. Additionally, the company established a presence in Scotland, to further strengthen regional support.
In October 2024, Keepit inaugurated its Paris office to spearhead its go-to-market strategy in France, Italy, and Spain, led by Regional Vice President Thierry Bedos.
The company also opened two new data centres in the same year, underscoring its commitment to providing a more secure and efficient service to its growing customer base and partner network in all regions – this time in Switzerland.
Alongside new data centres, Keepit bolstered its leadership team with key executive appointments to drive its strategic initiatives, including: Kim Larsen, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO); Michael Amsinck, Chief Product Officer (CPO); Fahad Qureshi, Vice President of Americas; Thierry Bedos, Regional Vice President of Southern Europe; and Liz Barnhart, Vice President of Global Alliances.
Keepit’s success has been further amplified by its growing global partner network, which delivers SaaS data protection solutions across multiple regions.
This included across the Americas that saw collaborations with Alchemy Technology Group, P1 Technologies, Centre Technologies, and Movti; Australia and New Zealand, that included partnerships with Vectec, blueAPACHE, and CSW-IT; and the EMEA, that included partnerships across DACH, Benelux, Nordics, UK, and Southern Europe—including Komposite, SPIE ICS, Nunsys, and Omega Peripherals.
In 2024, Keepit’s solutions and commitment to excellence were given industry recognition through 17 awards, including 13 in FY24 alone.
The company also introduced the Keepit Partner Network in 2024, allowing partners to deliver SaaS backup and recovery solutions.
Looking ahead, Keepit will continue to accelerate its global expansion strategy, prioritising key markets across the Americas and Europe, and other high-growth regions.
Cyril VanAgt, EMEA VP of Channel, Keepit (pictured) concluded: “At Keepit, we are committed to empowering our partners across EMEA with the tools, resources, and support they need to drive success in the cloud backup and recovery market, and our Partner Program is designed to create a strong, mutually beneficial ecosystem where resellers, MSPs, and system integrators can thrive.
“By offering dedicated training, marketing support, and attractive financial incentives, we are reinforcing our channel-first strategy and ensuring our partners can deliver intelligent data protection solutions to their customers.”
