Logicalis names new CEO

International MSP Logicalis has announced a new CEO. From 1 March 2020, Mark Rogers will transition from his current CEO role to a non-executive director role, at which point Bob Bailkoski (pictured) will succeed him.

Bailkoski is currently COO (chief operating officer) and joined Logicalis four years ago as CFO (chief financial officer).

Rogers joined Logicalis 16 years ago and has spent the past 13 years in the pivotal roles of COO and CEO. During this period, the company experienced significant growth with the help of acquisitions, with annual revenues increasing from $800m to $1.7bn and EBITDA from $27m to $93m.

Over the period, Logicalis Group expanded from a nine-country operation in 2007 to 26 countries today. It has also transitioned from being an ICT integrator, said the firm, towards being an IT solutions provider focused on providing digital enablement services to customers.

“I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished together during this time, and confident that Logicalis is very well-positioned to keep designing and delivering customers’ digital transformation,” said Rogers. The firm employs 6,500 and is a division of Datatec, which is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with revenues of over $4.3bn.

Last month, Logicalis Germany acquired Orange Cloud Networks GmbH to boost its hybrid cloud services offering. Hamburg-headquartered Orange Cloud Networks is a Microsoft Gold Partner that provides Azure-based services.
