Menlo Security appoints EMEA channels head

Cloud security vendor Menlo Security has appointed Rob Cole-Lomas to lead its channel strategy in EMEA.

As senior director of channels for EMEA, Cole-Lomas (pictured) will be committed to “building exceptional relationships with existing channel partners and driving new alliances”, said the firm.

He brings over 15 years’ experience in leading vendor channels in the region, where he has developed strategic partner relationships in the threat detection and response space.

Most recently, he was at Cybereason, building out partner relationships for its incident response and MDR offerings. He also previously led the channels at Swimlane, held the position of director of partner solutions for architecture at CrowdStrike, and led FireEye’s global alliances teams.

Cole-Lomas said: “Amidst a backdrop of exponential growth in ransomware, malware and highly evasive adaptive threats, Menlo Security is uniquely positioned to drive unparalleled protection for organisations.

“The next 100 days will be a focused period of reigniting existing partnerships whilst driving out new alliances, allowing even more organisations to go through the SASE journey and enabling secure work from anywhere.”

Mike East, VP of sales for EMEA at Menlo Security, added: “By developing and enhancing our relationship with customers and partners, we have a great opportunity to help even more organisations securely access critical applications globally and thereby drive productivity. Rob will be pivotal in helping us to deliver true value to our prospects.”

Two years ago, Westcon signed a pan-European distribution agreement with Menlo Security.
