Fresh from acquiring Swansea-based IT provider Gower Business Systems in August, Flotek has snapped up IT firm MazingTree as part of its growth strategy.
The takeover will see the MSP further expand into the South West to cover Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall, in addition to the wider Wales area.
The Microsoft Cloud, Dell and Veeam partner said it hopes to triple in size in the next six months.
Jay Ball, CEO and Co-Founder of Flotek Group (pictured middle-right), said: “This is the perfect base for us and unlocks a hugely exciting potential for growth; it’s an area where we have seen our competitors consolidate and customers seeking a new strategic local partner.”
MazingTree’s technical team will integrate within the larger group at Flotek and MazingTree’s Technical Director John Allan (pictured middle-left) will remain in the Group.
Allan added: “Joining Flotek gives us the resources we need to supercharge our client base and welcome more customers. Flotek’s cloud-focused approach offers new skills and opportunities for our team and clients alike.”
