Cleondris has now publicly launched its Cleondris ONE data protection offering, which integrates backup, security, and compliance for NetApp data storage systems.
The solution was privately revealed to press and analysts at the recent IT Press Tour in Istanbul, Turkey, which IT Europa attended. At that event, Cleondris claimed the new offering was “redefining” cyber resilience for NetApp environments.
Instead of separately selling three products to users, Cleondris ONE bundles all three in one package, with the supplier maintaining the move makes firms more resilient against attacks.
“Organisations need a holistic approach to data security and recovery. It's not just about prevention - it's about quick detection, response, and keeping the business running when attacks happen,” said Christian Plattner, CEO of Cleondris.
Designed to protect NetApp ONTAP environments, the bundled tech aims to make sure the integrated backup, security, and compliance system provides a coordinated response to threats.
Cleondris ONE protects NetApp ONTAP-driven systems across users’ own data centres or the cloud.
Cleondris is a Switzerland-headquartered firm, who originally struck its relationship with the Californian storage giant after it helped the company’s German unit solve some problems a big German banking customer was having with its NetApp configuration.
It sells through the NetApp channel and it continues to build up its own specialist partner channel across Europe.
