Polish Salesforce services specialist Craftware has been acquired by Orange for about €25m through its BlueSoft unit in Poland. BlueSoft is a company specialising in integration services, custom app development and data management, and was acquired by Orange last year.
Craftware was founded in 2009 and employs a total of 320 staff with a headquarters in Warsaw. It is a Platinum-level Salesforce CRM partner and its customer base includes blue chip companies in the pharmaceutical, retail and finance verticals.
Both BlueSoft and Craftware are now part of the Orange Polska Group. Orange Polska VP Bożena Leśniewska said: "The rapid shift of consumer purchases to online is driving digitisation of customer relations making connected CRM a central element of IT architecture of many businesses.
“The acquisition of Craftware will give Orange Polska premiere exposure to this fast growing market segment and at the same time will enable us to use the competencies that we already have around cyber-security, IT infrastructure hybridisation, application integration and cloud migration.”
Jacek Zawłocki, CEO of Craftware, said: “As BlueSoft will be a close Craftware business partner, we see strong added value we can bring together to customers by combining our expertise.”
Orange Polska says it aims to build a strong group of companies that cooperate but retain their distinct character. “BlueSoft joined the Orange Group last year and is a great example of a successful acquisition,” said Zawłocki.
“With the cooperation of BlueSoft we can operate more effectively while focusing on Salesforce technology, as before.”
