To tackle the scarcity of proficient cybersecurity experts in Europe, Orange Cyberdefense is creating 800 employment opportunities in nine markets located in the region.
The recruitment drive is part of its strategy to strengthen its organization and meet the rising demand for cybersecurity services in Europe.
The company has launched a platform to facilitate the recruitment process by searching for potential employees throughout all its European campuses.
Hugues Foulon, CEO of Orange Cyberdefense, said: “Our goal is to create the largest community of cyber experts in Europe. This is a huge challenge, especially with the talent shortage the whole industry is experiencing.”
In 2022, Orange Cyberdefense hired 777 professionals to its team, while posting a 14% rise in revenue to reach €977m.
At present, the firm has a workforce of approximately 3,000 cybersecurity specialists stationed at its various facilities throughout Europe.
