Orca Security has signed a distribution agreement with DataSolutions to aggressively grow its business in the UK and Ireland. As part of its regional growth strategy, the vendor also plans to increase its headcount in the region.

Orca Security’s public cloud security system provides a 100% full stack visibility into AWS, Azure and GCP. The vendor boasts its softwware deploys in minutes to identify vulnerabilities, malware, misconfigurations, lateral movement risk, leaked passwords and other security risks, without using agents or network scanners.
It also provides granular ‘contextualisation’ of alerts that matter the most to the enterprise.
“In analysing the overall state of the cloud security market, organisations couldn’t find a comprehensive option,” explained Shua.
“There was a collection of disorganised, disjointed, and disparate visibility solutions – but no solution had the breadth and depth to see everything in their cloud environment and provide the context required to address two major challenges: security and visibility. Our approach addresses these challenges in one solution,” he added.
Orca joins DataSolutions’ growing stable of security products, which also includes the likes of Ordr and ColorTokens. The revenue from the distributor’s security division has grown by €7.5 million in 2020.
