Salesforce plans to invest $4bn in its UK operations over the next five years to meet increasing AI demand.
This builds upon a previous five-year investment plan, which saw Salesforce commit $2.5bn to the UK in 2018.
UK Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, described the move as a ‘ringing endorsement’ of the UK economy.
"This investment sits alongside my key priority to grow the economy and pledge to make the UK the best place in the world to start, grow and invest in tech businesses," he said.
Salesforce chair and CEO Marc Benioff said the investment will drive the "next wave of digital transformation in this new AI era."
The CRM vendor recently launched Einstein GPT, an AI tool for CRM, and AI Cloud, integrating AI, data, and analytics for real-time enterprise AI.
