SecZetta enters EMEA identity management market

SecZetta, a US provider of third-party identity risk solutions, has entered the EMEA market by opening regional headquarters in London.

As part of the move, Phil Allen, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in identity management, has been named general manager for EMEA. He most recently served as vice president and general manager for EMEA at Ping Identity.

“A key driver in our EMEA expansion is the growing movement we’ve seen towards automation and the use of an identity authority as a critical component to managing the diversity, complexity and volume of third-party non-employee workforce access,” said David Pignolet, founder and CEO of SecZetta. “SecZetta uniquely delivers this capability, and Phil's deep industry knowledge, leadership experience and regional expertise make him well positioned to lead our growth strategy in EMEA.”

Allen added: “Having spent the past 20 years helping organisations with their identity management programmes, the focus has always been on either employee or customers' identities, with no consideration for the myriad of non-employee and non-human identities that are part of most organisations.

“SecZetta solutions uniquely help automate the risk-based identity lifecycle management processes for third-party and non-human users, which not only improves overall operational efficiency around managing access for these users, but dramatically reduces the risk associated with granting insider access to external, non-employee users. I look forward to building the EMEA organisation and working with our channel partners,” said Allen.

The EMEA organisation will go-to-market with a channel-first sales strategy. Existing partners will be used and new ones are being sought.
