Sweden-based network security solutions specialist Clavister has announced a new distribution agreement with a Polish IT security solutions distributor, IT Partners Security, which it expects will give it access to the Eastern European security IT market.
Under the terms of a deal, IT Partners Security will be distributing an entire portfolio of Clavister’s solutions which includes next-generation firewalls (NGFW) and gateway security solutions. Also, the new partnership is expected to help the Swedish company enhance its presence in the Polish cyber-security market as this segment is predicted to reach double digit year-on-year growth by 2018 from current $200m.
The Polish distributor will provide training and technical support for Clavister solutions suite and will incorporate all the solutions into its existing info-security portfolio. “With growth in the Polish IT security market starting to dramatically accelerate, we had identified it as a critical region for us to increase our presence in as soon as possible to position ourselves at the forefront of the market. Clavister specialises in mobile and network security solutions for enterprises, cloud service providers and telecom operators. The solutions range from entry-level next-generation firewalls in desktop-sized packages to demanding network environments.
