Cybersecurity and systems management firm Tanium Cloud has announced it has seen its cloud services customers grow more than 300% YoY.
The firm also said it has seen a fivefold increase in customers utilising its Reveal solution during this period, giving clients instant visibility into endpoints that were vulnerable to Log4j.
“Tanium Cloud customers no longer struggle with those restraints,” said Tanium chief product officer Pete Constantine. “Being infrastructure free gives them back countless hours of bandwidth, allowing them to allocate headcount elsewhere and solve for today’s most dangerous vulnerabilities in a matter of hours, not days.”
Tanium Cloud is the full functionality of the Tanium platform, delivered as a fully managed, cloud-based service. It gives organisations the choice to deploy new operations and security capabilities right away, from thousands of endpoints to scaling beyond a million. And organisations can use it without having to install software and maintain virtual or physical servers. The Tanium platform and solutions are automatically configured and maintained so users can focus their efforts on managing their endpoints.
“It became quite evident to us that Tanium Cloud was the only solution to allow us to gain rapid control of our endpoints, with unprecedented visibility and quick deployments,” added Eddie Neives, director of IT at Zemax, the manufacturer of optical design software. “Tanium allowed us to replace inadequate point solutions across our operations and security stacks, and enabled process efficiencies, enhanced visibility, control, and security at scale.”
