Global IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has opened ten new Threat Management Centers globally, including in the UK and Spain, to provide cyber-security services to enterprise customers with partners.
“In response to heightened cyber threats and the need to secure a larger surface area on account of remote working during the pandemic, progressive enterprises are investing in enhancing their cyber resilience and adopting next-generation security technologies,” said TCS. “To stay close to our customers and keep them secure and cyber resilient, while meeting data- and cyber-sovereignty regulations, we have opened these centres.”
The threat management centres are located in Bloomington, US; Manchester, UK; Madrid, Spain and in several major Indian cities. The company said it planned to open further centres in other regions, including in Europe.
The centres will focus on providing cyber security solutions and services, including managed detection and response services, incident management and breach support, on-demand cyber vigilance services, digital forensics and regulatory compliance. They will offer integrated threat management services across IT, OT, IoT and cloud ecosystems, “leveraging local expertise and partner ecosystems for seamless scalability of operations”, TCS added.
Sundeep Oberoi, global head for the Cyber Security Practice at TCS, said: “Our global network of Threat Management Centers will leverage cutting edge technologies and our zero trust framework will provide rapid and expert security services locally, bringing us closer to our customers while ensuring compliance with data protection laws.”
BT unveiled its Security Advisory Services practice this March, marking another step in the ongoing expansion of its cyber security services, with around 300 members of specialist staff located globally. In autumn 2019, BT opened its expanded Madrid Cyber Security Operations Centre.
