Tech Data has extended its NAS portfolio by signing a distribution partnership with QNAP, the provider of network-attached storage devices.
The agreement gives partners an additional set of NAS options to take to mid-range and enterprise customers who need “fast, efficient and easy-to-deploy storage solutions”, said Tech Data.
Adam Lee (pictured), business unit manager for Global Computing Components (GCC), Europe at Tech Data, said: “With the boom in hybrid and home working, demand for enterprise-class storage solutions that are quick to deploy and manage has been escalating.
“QNAP has a great reputation and is a valuable addition to our portfolio. It’s a great opportunity, both for current partners and those who are new to QNAP.”
Posen Wang, UK country head for QNAP, added: “This partnership will give our existing partners access to Tech Data's extensive services and capabilities and provide many more resellers with the opportunity to take QNAP’s NAS solutions to market.”
A programme of online events and information, to on-board new partners and support sales activity, is currently being put together by the GCC team at Tech Data.
