Tech Data's appointment as a Cisco Customer Experience Specialist shows its ability to provide services and support to partners through the full lifecycle of Cisco solutions, it claims.

Tech Data was also required to demonstrate its capability to support the solutions lifecycle on Cisco technologies and to help reseller partners achieve positive business outcomes for their end-user customers.
As well as skills development, it continues to invest in providing additional value and automation tools for partners it says. It offers enablement, specialist skills, and business development support through its Momentum programme, and gives them access to tools such as Cisco 1Source, its recently-launched self-service portal that enables Cisco partners to generate certified customer quotations in real time.
In addition, Tech Data provides pre-shipment configuration and testing on Cisco UCS data centre and networking systems at its UK configuration centre – the only UK location to hold a Cisco Level 6 Accreditation, it says.
