TD Synnex company Tech Data has extended its portfolio of services with the launch of its new installation service for printers and multi-functional devices, allowing partners to offer more value to their end-user customers and drive additional services.
Provided by qualified and trained engineers, the end-to-end service will provide partners with access to options for pre-delivery inspection, testing, network installation and training.
“Tech Data is committed to providing best-in-class service and with the print installation service we intend to grow and enhance that reputation,” said Chris Bates, business unit manager, print and supplies, UK, at Tech Data. “It provides partners with a simple and cost-effective way to add value for their customers without having to commit additional resources.”
The service also allows partners to combine it with Tech Data’s OpenMPS managed print service to offer a complete print package to their end-user customers. It can be used for a single device or an entire fleet of devices, the firm said.
“When combined with our OpenMPS service, partners can extend their managed services offering even further,” Bates continued.
The installation service can also be provided as part of a TaaS offering, allowing partners to offer subscription options on any combination of hardware, software and services.
Tech Data claims to help 150,000 customers in over 100 countries to maximise the value of technology investments, demonstrate business outcomes and unlock growth opportunities.
