Tech Data has signed an agreement with LogPoint to distribute SIEM solutions to customers in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland and the UK.
LogPoint’s SIEM solutions gather data from disparate systems to find patterns of behaviour or indicators of security compromise and attack.
“The LogPoint SIEM system is designed from the ground up to be simple, flexible and scalable. These characteristics, combined with a flat licensing model, makes it a powerful network security tool that opens up new opportunities for our partner community,” said David Ellis, vice president, Security and Mobility Solutions, Europe, Tech Data. “Managed Service Providers (MSPs) can also use the LogPoint system as a building block for their own SIEM services. Additionally, LogPoint makes it far easier to wrap security, compliance and business analytics around many of the other vendor technologies in our solutions portfolio.”
