Tech Data says its technical services team is ready to support partners in anticipation of “increased demand” in its “popular” Click to Run cloud services.
During the first half of the year, sales of these services “accelerated” with triple digit growth, the distributor says, and it has allocated additional technical resources to support partners in taking these solutions to market to drive a “significant further increase”.
The Click to Run solutions are “easy for partners to sell, deploy and manage”, it says, with Tech Data providing pre-sales technical consultancy, training and deployment support to partners.
“There is a strong pipeline of prospects and more partners are coming on-board, going through the enablement process and preparing to take them to market,” said Tech Data.
For its top four Click to Run solutions - Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), the Secure Score risk assessment framework, and backup and disaster recovery solutions built on the Veritas and Veeam platforms - Tech Data is targeting “significantly higher triple-figure sales growth for the calendar year”.
Andy Brown, services director for advanced solutions at Tech Data UK and Ireland, said: “We’ve been taking a technically-led approach with these solutions, and we’ve seen big success with all four as a result.
“As Click to Run solutions are pre-configured and integrated they are fast to deploy and deliver faster time to value. We are now ready to help more partners capitalise on that and deliver extremely good and cost-effective solutions for their customers, and thus drive up their own consumption revenues and monthly income stream,” said Brown.
