Tenable to enhance cloud security play with Ermetic buy

Tenable is set to enhance its cloud security portfolio after signing an agreement to acquire Ermetic for $265m.

The acquisition aims to enhance Tenable's One Exposure Management Platform by integrating Ermetic's cloud solutions.

"Together, we will deliver a holistic view of the modern attack surface," said Amit Yoran, CEO of Tenable. 

Echoing this sentiment, Ermetic's CEO Shai Morag added that the merger would offer "unprecedented levels of actionable visibility" and simplify cloud security management. 

The deal is expected to close in the early fourth quarter.
