Tintri, maker of VM-aware storage (VAS) for virtualisation and cloud environments, has a deal with Nuvias Group (distributors Wick Hill and Zycko) covering the DACH region. “Tintri is expanding in response to the increasing demand for VM-aware storage,” explains Stefan von der Marwitz, EMEA Channel Manager at Tintri. “Wick Hill and Zycko are already doing an excellent job distributing our VAS solutions in other regions and the expansion into the DACH region allows us to fill a gap in our distribution. Together with Wick Hill and Zycko, we promise that we will be able to drastically increase the number of resellers in the region and provide competent support in their sales activities.”
The agreement aims to increase the number of resellers offering Tintri all-flash. Wick Hill and Zycko will deploy sales, technology and marketing resources to generate more leads, train staff, and provide sales and technical support services.
Wick Hill and Zycko will be using more than 100 sales representatives in their offices across various locations, including Hamburg, Munich and Berlin, to drive sales. The team will also include product sales specialists who have received specific training to help them sell Tintri all-flash storage for enterprise cloud.
