Wavenet and Daisy merge to form IT powerhouse

The merger of Wavenet and Daisy Corporate Services has been approved, forming a major independent IT managed services and security provider in the UK. 

Operating under the Wavenet brand, the combined company will focus on cyber, cloud, and intelligent network solutions, employing around 2,000 staff and serving over 22,000 customers. 

Philip Grannum (pictured) will continue as CEO, while Daisy Chairman Matthew Riley will join the board as a non-executive director. Wavenet Chairman Bill Dawson will retain his position, and Daisy CEO Neil Thompson will exit the company.

Grannum said: “By combining our strengths, resources and expertise, we are poised to create a stronger and more innovative organisation, well positioned to maximise on the rising tide markets of cyber, cloud and intelligent communications.

 “The coming weeks and months will see a collaborative and transparent integration process to bring together our operations, systems and processes. Our focus will be on ensuring a smooth transition for our people, customers and partners.”
