Global ICT distributor Westcon-Comstor has expanded its distribution agreement with Zscaler just three months after signing a deal with the cloud security vendor to market and distribute its cloud-native security platform across EMEA.
The new distribution agreement will bolster Westcon-Comstor’s zero trust offering into more markets across Europe, with further expansion into APAC also planned.
Zscaler provides enterprise and corporate customers with what it describes as a best-in-class, next-generation cybersecurity offering built for the distributed cloud environment to reduce the attack surface by directly connecting users to applications via a zero trust approach.
“As we look to expand our offering across the rest of Europe and into APAC, Westcon-Comstor became the obvious partner for us,” said Arun Dharmalingam, VP of EMEA and APJ alliances at Zscaler. “The early success of this relationship combined with their wide regional reach, marketing and sales support are just some of the many ways Westcon-Comstor set itself apart from other channel partners.”
The enhanced relationship will also see Westcon NGS boost the capabilities within four of its zero trust access pillars: zero trust access, IoT/OT security, next-generation SOC and secure cloud/DevOps.
“The early results of our relationship have been extremely encouraging and we’re proud to be expanding our remit to bring these services to more European markets,” added Daniel Hurel (pictured), VP of Westcon EMEA – Cyber Security & Next Generation Solutions. We’re confident Zscaler will continue to play a key role in helping our partners to significantly reduce the attack surface of their customers, with a true zero trust approach.”
