Westcon-Comstor has named John Nolan as UK&I MD, succeeding Antony Byford who has taken on a new role as Vice President of the distributor's newly formed Cloud & Collaboration business division.
Nolan (pictured), formerly Sales Director at Westcon UK&I, joined the firm in 2005 and has held several positions during his 17-year tenure. As UK&I MD he will oversee operations for Westcon’s UK&I business leading a team of over a hundred sales, technical and operational professionals.
David Grant, CEO of Westcon-Comstor, said: “John has been a great support to Antony and they’ve worked brilliantly together growing the Westcon UK&I business over 50% in the past four years.”
Nolan added: “The beauty of distribution is when you build close relationships with your partners and get to watch our enablement make real, positive impact in that partner’s business. We have a unique view of the market and I look forward to utilising that to help our UK & Ireland partner community.”
