Westcon first to get Infoblox accreditation

Westcon says it is the first distribution partner in the EMEA region to earn the designation of Infoblox Professional Services Partner. The Professional Services Program was launched by the cloud security services vendor in Q4 2019, and enables select partners to deliver Infoblox services with independent pricing in support of their customers.

Available to Platinum and Gold partners who are in good standing and have completed requisite training and certification requirements, the Infoblox Partner Professional Services Program provides partners training, resources, tools and ongoing support needed to deliver DDI management (domain name system (DNS), dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) and IP address management (IPAM)) and security professional services to customers.

Sandy Janes, senior director of partner programmes and operations at Infoblox, said: "Our Professional Services Program includes training and consultancy hours partners can use throughout the year to ensure customer success as they deliver Infoblox services. We believe the outcome will help end customers realise the full value of their technology investments and we look forward to working with Westcon to continue delivering top-notch support to our mutual channel partners."

Matthew Piddington, director for services at Westcon-Comstor, said: "We are constantly striving to broaden our services offerings available to the channel to complement our fast-growing product portfolio. Tackling the industry challenge around skills and competence shortages and extending Infoblox's reach as a vendor into new and existing territories offers significant value to the market.”

Westcon has been an Infoblox partner since 2009 and was recently named Infoblox Northern European Distributor of the Year for 2020. Last month, Infoblox announced the appointment of Ashraf Sheet as its EMEA channels director.
