Xerox to cut 15% of jobs in organisational overhaul

Xerox is undergoing a major overhaul, cutting 15% of its workforce as part of a reinvention plan that encompasses a new organisational structure and operating model.

This strategy includes enhancing its core print business, streamlining global services, and focusing more on IT services.

Xerox CEO Steven Bandrowczak said: ″The shift to a business unit operating model is a continuation of our client-focused, balanced execution priorities and is designed to accelerate product and services, go-to-market, and corporate functions’ operating efficiencies across all geographies we serve,” Xerox CEO Steven Bandrowczak said in the statement.

The layoffs are set for this quarter, with Xerox providing transition support to the impacted employees.
