Zivver and Agari partner to ensure compliant inbound/outbound email

Zivver’s outbound email data protection systems now offers the Agari Brand Protection product which addresses the specific outbound exploit of domain spoofing/brand hijacking. This aims to ensure that emails which are sent can be trusted by recipients and comply with regulatory environments.

As reported in Omdia’s Market Radar 2020, outbound email security is a challenge, increased by the remote digital workforce; evolving privacy regulations and compliance demands; and email being a leading cause of data leaks worldwide. Zivver’s new partnership with Agari aims to address many of these, offering data leak prevention, enhanced customer trust, and compliance with global data protection regulations.

“Zivver and Agari are both recognised market-leading technologies in the secure communications space, therefore the relationship is mutually beneficial to both us and our customers,” said Wouter Klinkhamer, CEO at Zivver. “Our partnership will help further protect customers with both their outbound and inbound communications and brand reputation. This will give businesses unprecedented security across their communications platforms.”

Talking to IT Europa, Steve Lloyd, Regional Director UKI at Zivver explained how service providers could show its value to customers through the reporting function:

“The reporting is done separately, i.e., each platform has its reporting instances. Zivver offers administrative dashboards that provide customised and standard management reports to allow organisations to make an in-depth analysis. It is also possible for admins to export the audit log on a schedule, for example, but not limited to exporting every month in .csv format.”

IT Europa: Does it allow service providers to onboard users remotely and also switch them between office and work-from-home?

“Yes, both platforms can be deployed easily, remotely. Zivver offers a web application that works on any modern browser for computer, laptop, tablet and mobile. For mobile devices, Zivver has a mobile app for IOS and Android that is free to download. It also supports O365 Exchange Online/Exchange On-Prem deployments via OWA/Outlook plugins and also Gmail support via our Chrome extension. No specific device is needed, and these clients can be used to read/compose messages, view images, read documents or access files.”

IT Europa: Is there any sort of demo version to help close the sales deal?

“Zivver provides the opportunity for anyone to sign up for a free guest account and, on request, can offer enterprise customers proof of concepts, if required. Demos are available on both platforms by contacting Agari and Zivver.”

Steve Lloyd added, “By combining Zivver and Agari technologies, our aim is to enable organisations across multiple sectors - including financial services, legal, healthcare and other parts of the public sector - to secure all aspects of outbound and inbound email communications.”
