A new survey conducted by Censuswide for Auxilion and Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) finds that 49% of IT decision makers in UK enterprises believe AI could make their services obsolete in 3-5 years.
Despite this concern, 80% of these companies are actively using AI,with half expecting it to be standard in all workplaces within five years.
Yet, a training gap exists, as 26% feel unprepared to fully leverage AI, the survey found.
Auxilion CTO Donal Sullivan (pictured) said: “The message for IT decision makers and business leaders is simple: if you stay static and fail to embrace new technologies like AI, your business will be left behind.
“Investment in innovation is critical in ensuring enterprises remain competitive, and selecting the right partner that can support you in that process is key.”
The survey was conducted among 100 IT decision makers at companies with over 250 employees.
